One of San Francisco's most established independent CPA firms is looking for a Senior Tax Manager with a clear path to partnership.

They have been operating for over 40 years with no PE ownership or consolidation agenda. This firm does things the right way, with a long standing reputation and a client base built over decades of trust.

The Role

This isn't a lateral move. It's a seat that has led to partnership before - someone hired at this level six years ago made partner. The firm is selective about who they bring in at a senior level, and when they find the right person, the trajectory is real and they'll be in your corner with you.

You'll work with high-net-worth individuals and families ($20M to $1B+) across the full complexity of their tax lives: trusts, partnerships, real estate, multi-entity structures. Senior client contact, end-to-end engagement ownership, and direct access to the Managing Partner.

What They're Looking For:

• CPA licensed

• 10+ years in public accounting tax - individual, partnership, trust.

• Currently operating at Director or Senior Manager level

• HNW client experience is essential

• If you've been developing your own client relationships or have portability, they want to hear about it

The Package:

• Up to $260,000 base

• 10% employer retirement contribution

• Fully-funded HSA

• Major medical with low employee premiums

• 20 days PTO + 5 additional days for overtime hours

• Hybrid working
